Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the procedures for reservations, payments, cancellations, and stays at La Ferme du Passieu. Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Reservation

All reservations become firm and final upon receipt of:
• the duly signed rental agreement;
• a deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of the stay.

The balance for the stay must be paid no later than thirty (30) days before the arrival date.

If payment is not received within this time frame, La Ferme du Passieu reserves the right to cancel the reservation. The deposit paid will be forfeited.

The reservation is made for a specific number of people. Any change in the number of guests must be agreed upon in advance.

Any sublease or transfer of the contract is prohibited without the written authorization of La Ferme du Passieu.

3. Rates and Payment Terms

Prices are listed in euros (€), including all taxes, unless otherwise noted.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or online (credit card).

Any bank fees associated with international payments are the customer's responsibility.

Any additional services booked before or during your stay will be billed separately.

4. Cancellation or Change of Trip

All requests for cancellation or modification must be submitted in writing (by mail or email). The date of receipt will be considered the effective date.
The following terms and conditions apply:

More than 121 days before arrival:

The deposit will be refunded, minus a €300 processing fee.

Between 120 and 90 days before arrival:

50% of the total cost of the stay is due.

Less than 90 days before arrival:

The full amount for the stay is due.

In the event of early departure, late arrival, or no-show, no refund will be issued.

Customers are encouraged to purchase cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that might prevent them from taking their trip.

5. Liability for Damages

The tenant is responsible for any damage, loss, or harm caused during the stay by the tenant, the tenant’s companions, or the tenant’s guests.

Any necessary restoration, replacement, or repair will be billed at the actual cost of the work or the replacement of the damaged property.

La Ferme du Passieu can provide any estimate, invoice, or supporting documentation needed to determine the cost of repairs.

La Ferme du Passieu assumes no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of guests' personal belongings.

6. Arrival and Departure

Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m.
Check-out must be completed by 11:00 a.m.

Any late arrivals must be reported in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements to welcome you under the best possible conditions.

7. Occupancy of the Premises

The tenant agrees to use the premises peacefully and in accordance with their intended purpose.

In particular, the guest is required to:
• keep the premises clean and tidy;
• immediately report any damage or incident;
• comply with the maximum occupancy limit specified at the time of booking.

Any reception, party, or event involving a larger number of guests than was specified at the time of booking must be approved in advance by La Ferme du Passieu.

8. Included Services and Additional Benefits

The stay includes:

• breakfasts;
• housekeeping services provided to ensure the comfort of the residents and the overall upkeep of the property;
• access to the common areas and facilities of the house;
• the concierge service that helps organize various services and activities.

In addition, La Ferme du Passieu offers the following services:
• a private chef;
• massages;
• sports and outdoor activities;
• transportation;
• any other concierge services.

These services are offered subject to availability and may be provided by independent contractors.

Their rates are available upon request.

9. Private Chef

La Ferme du Passieu can arrange for a private chef to come to your home by prior reservation.

This service includes:

• menu design;
• the purchase of the ingredients needed to prepare meals (billed separately);
• preparing meals on site;
• table service.

The price for the chef's services is provided at the time of booking and may vary depending on the time of year, the number of guests, the length of stay, and the services requested.

Allergies, special dietary requirements, or specific needs must be reported in advance so that we can organize the service under the best possible conditions.

10. Concierge Services

La Ferme du Passieu offers a concierge service designed to organize the activities and services requested by guests.

Reservations are made through carefully selected partners.

La Ferme du Passieu acts as an intermediary and cannot be held liable for any changes, cancellations, or failures attributable to the service provider in question.

Services booked through partners may be subject to their own terms and conditions.

11. Business Trips and Seminars

When reserving La Ferme du Passieu exclusively for a seminar, business event, or private gathering, any setup, arrangement, or outdoor activity must be approved in advance by our team to ensure the preservation of the premises and the smooth running of your stay.

The customer remains liable for any damage caused by its employees, guests, or contractors.

12. Outdoor Activities

Sports, cultural, or recreational activities booked during the stay are conducted under the responsibility of their organizers.

Each participant is responsible for verifying their physical fitness and their personal insurance coverage.

La Ferme du Passieu cannot be held liable for any accident that occurs during an activity conducted by an outside service provider.

13. Home Maintenance

La Ferme du Passieu benefits from the daily presence of a housekeeper who ensures the comfort of the guests and the overall upkeep of the house during their stay.

End-of-stay cleaning is included in the rental rate.

However, occupants are asked to return the property in a condition consistent with normal use.

In the event of excessive dirt or a situation requiring special attention, additional charges may apply.

14. Wellness Area

La Ferme du Passieu features a heated indoor pool, a steam room, and a fitness center, all of which are available exclusively to guests.

Customers are solely responsible for the use of this equipment.

Children must be under the constant supervision of an adult.

La Ferme du Passieu cannot be held liable for accidents resulting from improper use or a lack of supervision.

Massages are available by appointment only and are subject to an additional charge.

15. Animals

Pets are welcome, provided they are registered before your arrival.
The pet owner remains fully responsible for any damage, disturbances, or additional cleaning fees caused by the pet.

16. Insurance

The tenant certifies that he or she is covered by a valid liability insurance policy covering any damage that may be caused during the stay.
It is strongly recommended that you purchase trip cancellation insurance.

17. Using the Fireplace

The fireplace is made available to occupants for use in accordance with its intended purpose.

The firewood needed to operate the fireplace is provided.

You may not use any fuel other than that provided or recommended by La Ferme du Passieu.

Guests agree never to leave a fire unattended and to follow the safety instructions provided upon arrival.

Any damage resulting from misuse may be billed.

18. Force Majeure

La Ferme du Passieu shall not be held liable in the event of circumstances beyond its control that prevent the normal performance of the contract, including natural disasters, exceptional weather conditions, administrative decisions, widespread utility outages, or any other event constituting a force majeure event.

19. Special Conditions in the Mountains

The guests acknowledge that they have been informed of the specific considerations associated with a stay in the mountains.

Weather conditions may cause traffic delays, delays, or occasional outages of electricity, the Internet, or certain networks, which are beyond the control of La Ferme du Passieu.

No compensation may be claimed when such events constitute a case of force majeure or an external event that cannot reasonably be controlled.

Customers are encouraged to prepare their vehicles for winter conditions in accordance with current regulations.

20. Internet

Wi-Fi access is provided free of charge to guests.
Users agree to comply with applicable laws regarding its use.
Any fraudulent or unlawful use remains the sole responsibility of the customer.

21. Lost and Found

Items found after departure may be returned to their owner, at the owner's expense, upon request.

22. Personal Information

The information collected during the reservation process is used solely to process requests, organize the stay, and manage customer relations.

Under no circumstances are they disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.

In accordance with applicable regulations, each customer has the right to access, correct, restrict, and delete their personal data.

23. Governing Law

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
Any dispute regarding their interpretation or enforcement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
